Check out the FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT to determine your eligibility, then follow the instructions in the form to submit your application by mail or electronically.

All applications must be submitted by mail or email no later than 5:00PM on March 20, 2026.

Awards will be announced the week of April 6, 2026.

This is a sponsorship reimbursement - your organization or entity will be compensated the award amount upon the completion of your proposed project.

You can email us at countyhistorian@ulstercountyny.gov or call the Ulster County Clerk’s Office at 845-340-3415 to speak to a coordinator Monday-Friday between 9 and 5.

Sponsorship fund recipients will receive instructions and materials for inclusion in their press announcements. A downloadable version of that package will also be made available on the website after March 20, 2026.

I don’t see an application form to fill out, is there one? (submitted 2/4)
Answer: The only standardized form we’ve provided is your organization contact sheet. For the body of your application, simply make a PDF or Word document answering the sections outlined in the funding notice/application guide to the best of your abilities. Don’t forget the mandatory attachments!
I’m applying as a municipal entity, what proof do you need in lieu of an incorporation or 501c3 determination letter? (submitted 2/4)
Answer: If you are an entity formed as part of a local government, provide us the citation for the local ordinance or statute empaneling or creating your group.
I’m a municipality, and I can’t find our incorporation document! (submitted 2/4)
Answer: Your incorporation appears in the published proceedings of the New York State Legislature. Historic back issues of these volumes can be found online or by contacting the New York State Archives. If you continue to have trouble, please reach out to our team using the contact page of this website.
Will events sponsored by this program be listed in a central location? (submitted 2/5)
Answer: Notice will be sent out advising the public of the webpage for our Rev250 Events calendar following the close of the application period on March 20, 2026. All events supported by the Rev250 Sponsorship Fund will be listed in that central calendar.
My organization is not a 501c(3) or municipality, am I still eligible to apply? (submitted 2/5)
Answer: Only 501c(3) organizations and municipalities are eligible to apply for the sponsorship fund.
